Blood Safety and Lab Services
- Operates Blood Safety programme as an integral component of NACP through technical, financial and administrative support.
- Establishment of State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC)
- Support funding of SBTC and facilitate its functioning as per the role assigned to it by NBTC for implementation of the action plan in the state.
- Ensure that the policies laid down by NBTC are followed.
- Supply of consumable item like Blood Bank, Reagents , Kits etc to NACO supported Blood Bank.
- Quality control of laboratory activities throughout the State
